Earlier this year I did a week long Artist in Residency in Washburn, Wisconsin through Ghost Ship Gallery. What an amazing thing it was to have a week to myself to just create! Away from my corporate day-hustle I found endless inspiration and energy.
Washburn is a beautiful little town on Lake Superior. I hope it never grows out of that quaintness.
I explored the Marina, local waterfalls, and downtown while toting my pochade box. I even had time to work on a large studio piece I had been wanting to start.
Later in the week my daughter joined me for a couple days to hang out and paint!
It would a dream to always be able to put this much love, time, and energy into my work!
