I have always been fascinated with Falconry. The dedication to care and training that goes into these birds pushes it beyond a sport. It’s more like a connection to the natural world; to something ancient and primal. This is a painting of a Red Tailed Hawk near the end of the season. It is a 9 x 12 oil on linen panel.
